If you are neither a Sudduth nor related to one, you will not want to view these pictures as they will have no meaning for you. Exit now. If you are a Sudduth, please do not give out this URL, except to a relative or friend. I see no reason to post this URL where a search engine can find it. This is a project of Charles Sudduth, Jr., and Eugene Sudduth, Jr., in an attempt to give a sense of history to the Sudduths from Mississippi. Anyone who has more pictures of the Sudduths that you want posted on these pages, please send them to either me or Gene and we will include them. None of these pictures has been retouched but are scanned from actual photos. A few have been slightly cropped and/or re-sized but nothing else. Some of the pictures are photographic reproductions of previous photos that were then scanned. Please copy and do anything you wish with them. Most of them were deliberately kept small...in the range of 15 to 25 KBs...as I suspect that most Sudduths are still using dial-up modems (me too). Some of them have enough resolution that they can be expanded to letter size, if you want to make a framed picture but some are already at maximum resolution. If you want a larger version to make a picture, let me know and I'll see if I can expand it without sacrificing resolution. All pictures ought to open in a new window. This site is in honor of the three Sudduth brothers: Joseph Franklin, Charles Felder and Eugene Trichel as well as their sister Barbara Kay Sudduth and all their predecessors and successors. OUR GRANDFATHER Our Grandfather, Joseph Franklin, passed away on Christmas day in 1934 in Kosciusko, leaving his three sons orphans and his daughter with only her mother. In those days when such a tragedy happened, the family would come together to take responsibility for raising the children. Thus, Joe Jr. was raised by his paternal Grandmother, Minnie Pettigrew Sudduth, in Kosciusko, MS; Chuck was sent to his Aunt Willie May Sudduth Herring in Greenville, MS; Gene was sent to his maternal Grandmother, Emma Josephine 'Maman' Trichel, in Shreveport, LA; and Barbara Kay lived with her mother Viola Gilmore Sudduth in Lena, MS.
